The Lunt Brothers were colliery agents and coal exporters as well as coke, lime and limestone merchants. Their head office was based in Birmingham and they operated coal depots in London, Manchester, Stourbridge and Wolverhampton which means they were a common sight across a large portion of the country. In addition to this they also operated quarries in Denbigh and Ruthin.
This attractive livery with black lozenge bordered with a crisp white as well as the red shading on the ‘LUNT’ will be sure to appeal to many N Gauge modellers or collectors of wagons. A run of these wagons would make a great touch for many coal yards.
