The “Mexico” sports version stands for the Escort victory status

Orange bodywork, chassis in dark gray. Interior in black, steering wheel in dark gray. Radiator grill in dark gray with silver-painted frame. Transparent front headlights, red transparent tail lights. Silver rims. Bumpers and side mirrors painted in silver. Black “Mexico” accent stripes on the sides, running also across the roof in driving direction. On the front, “Ford” lettering in silver and indicators in orange. Silver trimming on the sides of the vehicle as well as on the front and rear, the frame of the tail lights and the door handles are also in silver. Trunk lid with “Ford” and “Escort” lettering as well as lock in silver.
