The Type 73 heavy-duty truck is a general-purpose heavy-duty truck for transporting personnel and supplies, for which procurement began in 1973. It is deployed in almost all units of the Ground Self-Defense Force, regardless of the type of unit, such as Regular, Armored, or Special, and is also used by the Maritime and Air Self-Defense Forces. In addition, the vehicle’s high durability and ability to travel over rough terrain have greatly contributed to disaster relief and lifesaving efforts in various regions. This time, the SKW-464, which is the final group of the improved version, will be produced in 1/35 scale, as requested by many customers. In addition to the characteristic round-eyed cab and air cleaner, the two-window hood and wheels are reproduced with new molds.

The Type 73 heavy-duty truck classified under the SKW-464 format is precisely reproduced.
Both cab and cargo bed can be reproduced with the top removed.
The front steering wheel is movable.
The rear axle is movable to simulate the real vehicle’s excellent performance over rough terrain.
One figure of the car’s captain and one figure of the driver are included.
Many clear parts are used for the lights and reflective materials throughout the vehicle.
Rubber radial tires are used.
